Meet Author Gilbert Van Hoeydonck

Gilbert van Hoeydonck is an Australian writer based in Melbourne. He grew up in Belgium and became an Australian citizen in 1983, then worked for the Victorian Government as a policy adviser and project manager in child protection and public mental health services.

Gilbert now works as an independent writer. He has published a number of short stories. Hear him speak about writing his debut novel, The Best of Intentions.
