Jo is a health and wellness coach trained in nutrition, the psychology of eating, and yoga. She is committed to helping people not only lose weight but keep it off for good. Her focus is on how mindset affects the ability to lose weight and on giving advice related to diet and lifestyle changes. In this workshop, Jo will discuss:
1. The mind-body connection to weight loss and how working on the mindset is as important to losing weight as diet and exercise.
2. Why diets don’t work long term and why most people regain most of their weight after quitting their diet.
3. How stress and holding onto emotions can impact weight and the ability to keep it off.
4. How to eat healthy in a sustainable way without restricting certain foods and giving up on favourite foods."
