Share your love of poetry in a friendly, social environment. Each class focuses on one particular form of poetry and incorporates writing exercises, class discussions, and top poetry tips! Taught by Bryonie Hills, fellow poetry lover and wannabe poet, this eight weeks course promises to get your creativity flowing.
Wed 8/7: Introduction to poetry
Wed 15/7: Limericks
Wed 22/7: Haiku
Wed 29/7: Ballads
Wed 5/8 Sonnets
Wed 12/8: Free Verse
Wed 19/8: Metaphor poems
Wed 26/8: Odes/Villanelle

Notes & Requirements

This event is the first in an 8-week course. The $40 dollar fee is for the entire 8 weeks, please ensure you can attend all the dates listed prior to booking. Refunds cannot be given if you change your mind after the course has commenced.
