Event Description

The Old Lilydale Cemetery is the final resting place of world famous opera singer Dame Nellie Melba, but she is not the only amazing woman to be buried there. Early pioneers, musicians, artists and educators - these were women who made a difference and played an important role in the history of our local area. Join the Lilydale & District Historical Society for a fascinating cemetery walk and learn more about the lives and achievements of these amazing women.
