Join us for a presentation by author Jeff Steel, as he talks about his latest book, "Bombs and Barbed Wire", which recounts the story of Ambrose Adlam.
After his bomber was shot down over Nazi Germany, Adlam narrowly escaped death and became a Prisoner of War at Stalag Luft III, where he was later involved in the famous Great Escape.
"Bombs and Barbed Wire" is a gripping true story of love and war constructed from meticulous research, family records and eye-witness accounts.
