Event Description
Would you like to become a volunteer tutor and help new arrivals learn English? When people arrive in Australia they are offered free English lessons by the Adult Migrant English Program. When they register with AMEP they are also offered a free volunteer tutor for one hour a week. The tutor helps with learning English but also supports the new migrant in any way they need. To assist the tutor the VTS has many resources and is linked to all the Settlement services supporting migrants and refugees across Melbourne.
