Book Launch: Kylie Orr

Event Description

Kylie Orr is a local author who attended a monthly writing group at the Belgrave Library. She turned her interests from childrens picture books to gritty adult domestic thrillers as a way to sink her teeth into topics that stir and challenge her. Her first novel, SOMEONE ELSES CHILD, published by HQ Fiction (HarperCollins), is a gripping contemporary story that tackles the almost unbreakable loyalty of female friendships, the generosity of the community, and the lengths we will go to save a child.
Kylie will talk about her journey to publication, writing while raising four children and how living in the hills influenced her story.
