The Soft Library - Felt & Textile Exhibition By Artist Cat Rabbit

Event Description

The soft library is an extraordinary project by Melbourne-based textile artist Cat Rabbit. Throughout the month of September, Miller's Homestead will be transformed by Cat, into a fantastical felt library run by bears, or ‘libearians’, many of whom are famous literary characters. Lovingly made by the artist in felt and fabric, the library houses books, portraits, and a special giant ‘storytime’ bear who invites visitors to sit and enjoy a 'Storybox' story.
Whilst at the exhibition, draw someone you admire as a bear and exhibit your art in the 'Scullery' gallery.
