Annie-Louise's debut novel, The Flared Black Skirt, tells the story of life behind the scenes at a funeral directors’ business. Although the events and characters portrayed in the book have been created for dramatic effect, they are inspired by the author's real-life adventures.

Come to Healesville Library to hear Annie-Louise talk about her experiences in a funeral home and how she turned them into fiction for The Flared Black Skirt.
