Join Your Library and Ecologist Luis Mata for a walk in the park where we learn how to use the iNaturalist app to contribute to conservation and ecology research. We will explore the freshly redeveloped Tarralla Wetlands and the established Eastfield Park to discover what creepy crawlies, fungi, and plants are making these environments their home.
Your photo observations on iNaturalist will get identified, categorised and added to global databases of ecological observations which scientists depend on for their research. The skills you learn in this session will help you turn your everyday walk into an opportunity to get involved with global conservation efforts.
No Experience is Necessary. Low Impact Walk. Extra iPads and help using the app available.
