Event Concluded

Event Description

Learn the basics of photography, including aperture, shutter speed, white balance and composition. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own camera, as Kristen will go through different camera modes and settings to discuss what they do and how they affect images. A key aim is for students to leave the workshop feeling empowered to use their own cameras, particularly DSLRs.

Kristen Halkett is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and photographer based in Melbourne. With a background in photomedia and large-format Giclee printing, she has taught photographic and editing skills to many groups, including Craft Victoria members and local school communities.
