Photoshop Workshop With Kristen Halkett

Event Description

In this workshop students will be introduced to editing imagery using Adobe Photoshop. The workshop will begin with an exploration of the workspace, layer palette and tools before moving on to photographic editing. Topics covered will include output resolution (print vs online), file types, levels, colour management and digital restoration. Students are encouraged to bring their own digital images on USB to work on during tasks, though samples will be provided.

Kristen Halkett is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and photographer based in Melbourne. With a background in photomedia and large-format Giclee printing, she has taught photographic and editing skills to many groups, including Craft Victoria members and local school communities.
