Book Launch - Inside The Notebook

Event Description

Join us at Mooroolbark Library to celebrate the launch of Peter Hodkinson's first children's novel!

Peter began writing 'Inside the Notebook' during 2021, and it is his first children’s chapter book. The idea was developed in conjunction with his then 7-year-old daughter, Tilly, in response to not being able to find the right sort of book for her to read at her level. He found it was a joy to create Abbey and the world of her notebook, and if 'Inside the Notebook' is well received, there is certainly scope for Peter to write more adventures in the series.

Peter will be reading an excerpt from the book, talking about the writing process, and thanking those who have been with him throughout the publishing journey.

Bookings are encouraged but not compulsory - walk-ins are welcome.
