Event Description

Older Victorians are the fastest growing online user group in the country, and are attractive targets for scammers. Consumer Affairs Victoria is working with libraries to reduce the detriment caused by scammers by building greater awareness and understanding of online scams.

Topics to be covered include, identifying scams, financial cost of scams, identity theft, how to protect yourself, telemarketing, travelling con men and the role of Consumer Affairs Victoria.
