Event Description

Parents:
Do you struggle helping your children with their home reader?
Not sure how to help them choose what to read?

Reading Buddies are here to help!
Parents/caregivers and their children will:
- Listen to stories
- Play games
- Read together
all supported by our volunteer Reading Buddy.

Reading Buddies is a brand new program supporting primary school parents and caregivers to help their children to read. We know that most children come home from school with a reader they are supposed to complete each night, we also know that many adults don’t have the confidence to help their children learn to read so we have developed this brand new program.

A small afternoon snack will be provided.

Notes & Requirements

To ensure you get the most out of the program we have a limit of 2 children per adult.
If your child has a school reader you are welcome to bring that to do your school reading during the session.

There's no need to book your place for this event. Just meet us at Bayswater Library.
