Tinkering With Katherine Wilson
2:00 PM Tuesday 10th July 2018 Healesville Library
Local author Katherine Wilson is an editor, writer, researcher and tinkerer.
Her new book, "Tinkering", shines a light on tinkerers from all over; the do-it-yourself people who potter away in backyard sheds, repairing, salvaging and adapting what most of us discard; the people turning old into new, and hobbies into careers. Join the Tinkering renaissance!
Katherine is a Fairfax Media contributor whose work has appeared in The Age, The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, Meanjin, and many more. She is a former co-editor of Overland, and has a PhD is Cultural Studies. Copies of Tinkering will be avaliable to purchase on the day, thanks to Verso Books.
This event has concluded. It's a little too late to make a booking!
