A National Stroke Foundation speaker will present information about stroke and how it can be prevented - what stroke is, how to recognise the signs of stroke, what to do if someone is having a stroke, and how to prevent stroke.
More than 440,000 Australians live with stroke and a stroke occurs every 10 minutes.
The National Stroke Foundation is a not-for-profit organization providing a variety of stroke awareness and prevention programs.
