Author and Illustrator Lesley McGee is launching her debut picture book 'The Fabulous Fruit Shake Mystery' at Knox Library!

Come along to a special Storytime for children where we will read Lesley's new book, enjoy some themed activities, a chance to meet Lesley, and get your own signed copy of ‘The Fabulous Fruit Shake Mystery!

Lesley McGee, a versatile Melbourne-based creative, is an illustrator, designer, writer, and photographer. Her passion lies in inspiring creative drawing across all ages and skill levels. Lesley is renowned for crafting intricate 'micro-worlds' in her picture books. Noteworthy works include "Evie is all Ears" (2020) and "Night Lights" (2021), shortlisted for the International Rubery Awards. In 2023, “Emma’s Freckles” and “The Fabulous Fruit Shake Mystery” were released, the latter marking her debut as and Author/Illustrator. It is a significant milestone in her picture book journey with Australian publishers Little Pink Dog Books.
