Event Description

Get a head start on your summer veggie patch by preparing early!
This workshop, presented by Maria Ciavarella, will cover how to get your soil to work for you, which veggies grow well over the warmer months and how to get the best out of them.
You will then get to have some fun starting some veggies from seed to take home with you.

Maria is from My Green Garden. A teacher by profession and then working in the nursery industry for close to two decades, education is in her veins.
Maria has long combined her passion for growing food sustainably, making great compost and helping others do the same by educating and inspiring others to adopt a more sustainable way of living.
This event is a part of the Knox Council's Gardens 4 Harvest program.
