Event Description

This interactive workshop is delivered by the Australian Human Rights Commission and examines the assumptions and stereotypes that are commonly associated with ageing, from younger people through to older adults. Through engaging in self-reflection exercises and small group discussions, participants will explore their own attitudes and beliefs about age and develop a deeper understanding of the social and cultural factors that shape these perceptions.
Ageism can affect you at any stage.
This workshop aims to deliver benefits to participating individuals and organisations as well as the communities we work with.
