Event Description

In the past, when we lived off the land, we would only have foods available that were in season and as a result, our digestion and microbiome would change accordingly. These days many foods including fruits and vegetables are available all year round. Although this is convenient, it doesn't necessarily support our optimal health.
In this session, which is based on ayurvedic medicine, you’ll learn how your digestion naturally changes throughout the year and how eating seasonally can support your body to adjust to these changes, creating a greater sense of health and vitality. Discover which foods are naturally available during each season and how to best utilise them to support your health and wellbeing.
Cara Macri is an Ayurvedic practitioner, yoga and meditation teacher. Cara is passionate about heart-centred living and its importance in healing ourselves and the world around us.
