An award-winning Australian environmental journalist, freelance media manager, speaker, and author of three books, Melody Horrill is well known in her home state of South Australia for raising awareness about dolphins and marine conservation. She is the co-chair of the Jane Goodall Institute’s Cetacean Committee, Ambassador for Kangaroo Island Dolphin Watch and Retired Police Dogs SA. A passionate animal and nature lover, Melody lives in Melbourne with her rescue cat, Q, and her partner Grant.

Join us as Melody talks about her animal inspired writing journey, including her latest book, "Sheltered", which explores the power of love between people and their adopted animals, and how animals have changed and enriched people’s lives.
