'Words Aloud' Poetry And Spoken Word Session

Event Description

This month's prompt/theme is 'Belonging' Share what home means to you, a poem of connectedness or something completely unrelated!

Calling all wordsmiths, poets, spoken word artists, short story, letter, speech and song lyric writers!
Perform your words and stories with others in the intimate, cosy setting of The Parlour at Miller's Homestead on the 1st Wednesday of the month (apart from Jan & Dec) from 6-8pm.
These sessions are a place for you to connect and be inspired by other wordsmiths and have a chance to perform your works to a respectful and inclusive audience.

Not a writer but would love to hear the writing of others? Please join us, as a supportive audience member.

There will be special guests some months and every month will feature an open mic session.

Ages: 15 - 100.
Help yourself to tea and coffee during the session.
Bookings are essential.

Notes & Requirements

Accessible parking can be arranged by calling 0438 284 989 prior to the event. Please park in designated bays on Dorrigo Drive or Melrose Court. If bays are full, please use available spaces on Dorrigo Drive, ensuring that you park away from intersections and residents' driveways. Miller's Homestead is in a quiet, residential area so we ask that you please be courteous to our lovely neighbours.
