Event Description

Let's celebrate this fruitful season together as we share plants and produce whilst learning how to preserve our harvest with Maria from My Green Garden.

We will be delving into the science behind preserving, learning practical tips for sterilizing and watching Maria demonstrate how to make delicious chutneys, jams and pickles.

We will be also be hearing from Trish from BioGro, the company who turn our FOGO waste into beautiful compost for our gardens.

Bring along plants, cuttings, seeds, and anything garden related, to swap with others, and leave with some new plant friends, a jar of homemade preserves and a sample bag of compost from Bio Gro!

This wonderful gardening event is brought to you by Knox City Council's 'Gardens For Harvest' program.
