Event Description
Composting is the traditional method of breaking organic matter down into nutrient-rich soil conditioner. The finished product improves soil structure, and makes the perfect platform for growing plants, especially fruits and vegetables. Using compost can increase your crop yields without the need for adding synthetic chemicals or expensive fertilisers.
This Council-funded workshop brings discounted composting systems to homes and gardens across Melbourne and beyond. Led by passionate food and gardening enthusiasts, this program is designed to help you save money while making a positive impact on the environment.
