Event Description

Grief is a natural response to loss and looks different for each person. Loss can take many forms, including the death of a loved one, life transitions, a relationship breakdown, or losing a pet. This workshop will explore reputable approaches to grief that can aid the healing process. Participants will learn strategies for coping with intense feelings and create a personal self-care plan to scaffold their path through grief. Please note that this topic will be handled with sensitivity and participants will not be asked to share personal experiences of grief.

Kate Reimer is an accredited Clinical Counsellor (PACFA) with a particular interest in trauma recovery. Kate supports individuals (adults and youth ages 14+) through her counselling practice in Croydon South (carer funding available). Additionally, Kate is an academic associate at the University of Divinity and a keynote speaker for local businesses and community groups. Visit Kate's website for more information.
