Event Description

Come along to Croydon Library and learn all about this volunteer based, community nursey situated in Ringwood.
Local indigenous plants provide a haven for local birds and animals and ensure precious food and shelter for butterflies and frogs. CRISP propagates over 150 species of local native plants including wildflowers, ground covers, shrubs and trees. Over 40,000 plants are returned to the local environment through plantings in local parks, reserves and home gardens. This all helps to sustain and maintain the local character and biodiversity for future generations.
Learn about some of the rare and special plants in our local area and how the nursery is working towards preserving these species
