'Words Aloud' Poetry And Spoken Word Session - Featuring Poet Steve Smart

Event Description

Calling all wordsmiths, poets, spoken word artists, short story, letter and song lyric writers!
Share your words, stories and art with others in the intimate, cosy setting of The Parlour at Miller's Homestead.
These sessions are a place for you to connect and be inspired by other wordsmiths and have a chance to perform your works to a respectful and inclusive audience.
Each session will begin with a guest performer and will be followed by an open mic session.

And now, for some words about this month's guest:
Steve Smart is a poet and other things too, but mostly a poet. For the past two and a bit decades he has performed his work from Ballarat to Belgrave to Berlin to Belfast to Boston. And some places that do not start with B. He once lived in Boronia, but that was long ago. You'll know him when you see him, because no one else looks that much like a poet

Ages: 15 - 100.

Miller's Homestead is in a quiet, residential area so we ask that you please be courteous to our lovely neighbours.
