Subjects covered will include finding the right story, creating memorable characters, and learning to love editing. Participants can bring along a favourite piece of their own writing.

Lia Hills is a novelist, poet and translator, whose work has been published around the world. Her latest novel, The Crying Place, is set mostly in Pitjantjatjara and Arrernte country, and is a haunting story of the landscapes that shape us and the ghosts that lay their claim.
